Position Overview for Account Executive:
As an Account Executive at Elevate Technology Partners, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by connecting clients with technology solutions that solve real business challenges. This position requires a blend of consultative sales expertise, technical understanding, and relationship-building skills. You will own a defined sales territory, develop and expand client relationships, and work closely with our technical teams to design and deliver solutions that meet client needs across managed services, professional services, and technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business and Technical Understanding:
- Develop a deep understanding of Elevate’s service offerings and technology solutions across cloud, modern desktop, enterprise networking, data platforms, and security.
- Analyze client business challenges and translate them into tailored technology solutions that align with their strategic goals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, vendor roadmaps, and emerging technologies to inform client conversations.
- Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key decision-makers across your territory, ranging from IT leadership to C-suite executives.
- Proactively identify opportunities within existing accounts for additional solutions and services, while also pursuing net-new business.
- Regularly engage with clients to understand evolving business needs and position Elevate as a long-term partner.
- Sales Execution:
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and initial qualification through proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Collaborate with Elevate’s consulting and delivery teams to develop solution proposals and pricing aligned to customer needs.
- Drive consistent pipeline growth and exceed revenue goals by proactively developing new opportunities and expanding relationships within existing accounts.
- Collaboration and Internal Engagement:
- Partner closely with technical presales resources, delivery consultants, and practice leads to align sales strategies with delivery capabilities.
- Participate in regular account planning sessions to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Customer Collaboration:
- Work closely with clients to plan, design, configure, and diagnose networking technologies, fostering strong relationships and trust.
- Professional Development:
- Continuously develop your knowledge of key vendor technologies.
- Stay current on sales methodologies and best practices to enhance your effectiveness in a consultative sales role.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 5-8 years of technology sales experience, with proven success selling managed services, professional services, and technology solutions.
- Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise customers across a variety of industries.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed quota through a mix of new logo acquisition and account expansion.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, security solutions, data platforms, and modern workplace technologies.
- Excellent consultative sales skills, with the ability to connect technology capabilities to business outcomes.
- Highly organized with strong time management, pipeline management, and forecasting abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage technical and executive audiences.
